It has now become absolutely  clear  that United States-based anti-Venezuela forces are currently using their agents in the Caribbean to try to subvert the growing friendship between the socialist Government of Venezuela and the nation-states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) by deliberately misconstruing the Venezuelan government’s policy and intentions in relation to that country’s one hundred year old border dispute with our sister Caribbean territory of Guyana!

Eduardo “Pancho” Cruz was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on May 10, 1948, but grew up in the Lower East Side of New York City.  The youngest of four siblings, Eduardo attended school at Our Lady of Sorrows and then went on to Seward Park High School.  He graduated from the City College of New York (CUNY), and later from the Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey.

As a United Nations committee held hearings on the status of Puerto Rico in Manhattan, N.Y., outside a group of protesters rallied Monday in support of Oscar López Rivera, a Puerto Rican nationalist whose imprisonment for 34 years now is getting increasing attention.
